Opening Night: Saturday 10 August from 5pm – 10pm (Opening Ceremony and Fireworks: approx 6.30pm)
The Opening Night event will be a magical winter celebration featuring a spectacular lighting display capturing the sculptures and bushland, fireworks by Howard and Sons, presentation of awards, noodle market, a bonfire, entertainment and more.The stunning Sydney Harbour bushland and foreshore areas around Woolwich Dock and Clarkes Point will play host to a contemporary sculpture exhibition and series of community cultural events. Coordinated by Hunter’s Hill Council and the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust and hosted by Deckhouse, this boutique event features some of Australia’s top sculptural works.
HarbourSculpture will features outdoor and indoor exhibitions and a program of events for community members and art lovers. All entries will be judged by a curatorial panel led by Anthony Bond OAM and Dr. Anne Graham. View the artwork in our online gallery here.
Large outdoor works will be lit to encourage evening viewing as well as further enhancing this outdoor spectacle.
